Service

  • Black, Indigenous, and People of Colors’ lives and experiences matter; borders are imaginary and no one is illegal on stolen land; love is love, regardless of the sexes, genders, sexuality, or romantic orientations of its participants; transgender, agender, and nonbinary people of all varieties are the gender(s) they say they are; people with disabilities or neurodivergence are inherently worthy of respect and deserve equitable access to society; America has never been great for the majority of its people in its history; and peer-reviewed science is real

    If you disagree with any of the above, my work isn’t for you, and we probably shouldn’t work together. And no, I don’t need or want to hear about how upset you are regarding my values clause if this does apply to you.

    As a queer, nonbinary person, these are my boundaries and the values I hold most closely. Safety for myself and my community is more important in the current social climate than playing nice in the internet’s sandbox with intolerance.

Usage Rights:

  • Artwork provided is intended for private/personal use only and may not be used for profit.
    Options for commercial use are available upon email request and will be subject to additional fees.

  • Commissions in any state of completion are not to be loaded into any AI program/engine, nor may they be used to create NFTs.

  • I own exclusive rights to all artwork that I produce, and may use commissions, in any state of completion, as I see fit. This includes, but is not limited to, posting on my social media (unless otherwise requested), marketing, and inclusion in my professional portfolio.

  • I reserve the right to decline a commission request if I feel uncomfortable with subject(s) requested, or if I feel that my skill level will not meet expectations with what has been requested.

  • Reposting and sharing your commission is totally fine and encouraged — please just tag me for credit @stephiirose

  • Your commission may be worked on, partially or in full, during livestreams on Twitch (unless otherwise requested).

Payment:

  • Payments processed/invoiced via PayPal only. You will receive an invoice from me via email detailing the specific features and any requested add-ons for your order.

  • A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your commission will be due before work can begin on your piece. Once work begins on your commission, no refunds will be offered. The remaining 50% will be due before delivery of the completed work.

  • In the unlikely event that I must cancel your commission after beginning work on it, I will refund up to 75% of the total cost of the commission, with exact percentage dependent on how much work had already been completed.

Process & Timeline: 

  • Commission requests may be submitted via the form on my website (found here, or under the Commissions tab). Please do your best to fill out the form as completely as possible - it’s far easier for me to work with too many details than not enough.

  • Please allow up to 3 months for completion of your commission. Increasing the speed at which I draw is something I am trying to work on (and balancing the amount of time spent on a given project and valuing the details and quality of the piece is a tricky thing to me still), but I do have a full-time day job, so the time I can currently devote to drawing is somewhat limited.
    You are, of course, welcome to ask for updates on the project as needed if you’re curious about progress!

  • Upon starting your commission, I will send progress images of your sketch based on the updates preference indicated on the form. Once the sketch is approved, I will begin work on the clean line art (for commissions of line art only, this will be the only approval stage).

  • After approval of the line art, no refunds may be requested unless issued by me.

  • Further progress updates will continue after line art approval, with an additional approval request after flat colors are applied (for cell-shaded or fully-rendered pieces only).

  • 1 major revision and 2 minor revisions are included in the base cost of your commission. Your major revision can only be used prior to approval of the final line art. Additional major and/or minor revisions beyond those included in the base price will incur additional fees, which must be paid in full before work can continue.

  • Upon completion of your commission, I will email you 1 full-resolution .png file of the completed work, along with watermarked .jpgs for posting on social media. No physical product will be delivered.
